Introduction to Rognidan &  V. V. Dept. :

Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan Dept. deal with the Ayurvedic as well Modern Pathology of Diseases. Ayurveda science has its own theoretical concepts of disease pathology which are based on the Concepts of Panchmahabhoot, Tridosh,  Dhatu, Agni, Srotas, etc. In this Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan Subject, we taught these concepts correlating with western medical pathology and All diseases described in Ayurveda and Major required diseases of western medicine to 2nd BAMS (UG) Students.

This department gives Pathological Laboratory investigations hands-on training to students e. g. Blood, Urine, Stool, Semen, etc. examinations. We also give training on the reading of the EGC, X-RAY, USG, CT scan MRI, etc. to students.

Clinical Examination i.e. examination of the patient is the most important part of medical students’ training. Training of examination of the patient as well as sample collection procedures e.g. Blood Collection, biopsy, Pleural, Ascitic fluid tapping, CSF fluid Analysis, etc. is given to students by Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan Dept.

As per NCISM and MUHS, Nashik norms Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan Dept. has the infrastructure of Dept. and Well equipped pathology with CELL counter, Biochemistry Analyzer, Departmental Library, Various Charts, Models, Pathological specimens, etc.

 

Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan Dept. have been recognized by MUHS, Nashik for the Ph.D. course, and under the guidance of Dr. Arun S. Dudhamal, Three Scholars are pursuing Ph.D. from the Year 2020.
